Find Your Passion
DO WHAT YOU LOVE. I cannot stress this enough. You do not want to be stuck at a job that you hate at the age of 40 simply because you’re doing it for the money. If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. We have all heard that quote at least once in our lives. It couldn't be more true. Many of us are young and lost because we don’t know our purpose or passion YET. If you don’t know what you love, explore what you think you might be interested in. Here are some suggestions from me to you… Take classes at a community college to explore what you think you might like, that is if you don’t mind schooling. YouTube can teach you skills for free! It can also expose you to the life you can have if you go into a career you think you might be interested in. You think you might want to be a mechanic? YouTube search, "Life in a day of a mechanic". I guarantee you that there are hundreds of videos available at your disposal. There’s Instagram. Have you seen someone post a picture of something you might like or be interested in? Fashion design, interior design, engineering, or business? Connect with them and make sure you ask them questions on what it’s like to be in that field. Ask them about how and when they found their passion. Network! Getting to know people is not only beneficial to you in your career, but you can create amazing relationships! People that can maybe help guide you or provide you with more resources. That leads me to my next point. Use your resources! Living in this world today you are so lucky to have resources provided to you by the internet. I also want to say to keep in mind that you must work to get what you want! Don't expect things to be handed to you! Lions don’t eat, if they don’t hunt. Do everything in your power to grow and be a better person than you were yesterday. Wake up knowing that today you WILL learn something new, you WILL become a better version of yourself, and you WILL find what makes you happy.
